How do I get started with BeautyPlus API?

Sign up for an account and start a subscription to get a BeautyPlus API key. You can then make requests via SDK or SKILL. Integrating BeautyPlus API or skills with your agent should only take a few minutes.

Does the BeautyPlus API support batch processing?

Yes, you can process large batches of images using asynchronous APIs or batch tasks.

Does the API Key expire?

Accepted Answer

No. So long as you have a paid subscription, your API Key remains valid and active. During requests, the system automatically generates short-lived access tokens and refreshes them. No further action is required from you. If a request fails, check whether your API Key is correct. Contact technical support via email if you need further assistance.

How long is the generated image link valid?

Accepted Answer

The link is valid for 7 days. Please download and save your output to your device within that timeframe. After 7 days, the link will expire and the output will be deleted from our servers.

Can I still retrieve the result after the link expires?

Accepted Answer

No. Once the link expires, you need to resubmit the task and it will be billed again.

Can I apply multiple edits to the same image (e.g., restore image first, then change outfit)?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Simply use the output from the previous step as the input image for the next step. Note that each step is an independent task, and will be billed as such.

BeautyPlus image editing API supports JPG, JPEG, and PNG.

Are there limits on image size or resolution?

Accepted Answer

Yes, our photo filter API caps image size at 10MB for most features. The API will return an error if you try to process an image that exceeds the size or resolution limits. Try compressing or resizing the image, then resubmitting it.

Will I be charged if a task fails?

Accepted Answer

You will not be charged if an upload fails or if your request does not go through. All tasks successfully submitted for processing are billed. If processing fails, then we will refund the credits.

How can I avoid wasting credits during development?

Accepted Answer

Try reusing existing results when it makes sense. Continue from intermediate steps of multi-step workflows instead of starting over from scratch. All API calls are billable. We do not offer a sandbox environment at this time. But checking task status does not incur additional charges.
